Every year we give local bands who we like the sound and attitude of the opportunity to open the festival and this year we are delighted to welcome "The Southerners" Formed in 2024, Southerners  are a newly formed indie-rock band from South-East London and have played a range of shows from local pubs to the Churchill Theatre in Bromley to playing a Thursday afternoon slot in the Green Fields at Glastonbury this year .

 

They have just released their first of four singles “Sister” on streaming platforms and are preparing to release their debut album in early 2026.
